My name is Lynde Scott. I am a graphic designer with over three years of professional work experience. Before that, I developed my skills in the School of Design at Rochester Institute of Technology. Over the years I have come to love typography, color theory, branding, and making the complex simple. By working passionately and employing these tools, I have been able to reap the benefit of seeing my designs make the world a better (looking) place.
I was born and raised up in Potsdam, New York. If you are like most people, you will not know where this is. I like to describe it as being so far north in New York that it's basically part of Canada. Growing up in this rural location, between the Adirondack Mountains and the St. Lawrence River, formed a special bond between Mother Nature and myself. I find much of my inspiration in the environment and take whatever opportunity I have to be outside.
Besides nature, some of my interests include photography, woodcarving, music, hiking, biking, running, volleyball, racquetball, soccer, darts, fishing, Germany, cooking, eating, movies, card playing, camping, pen & ink drawing, woodworking, craft brews, people-watching, flea markets (mainly for the people-watching), and rock skipping ...to name a few.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy my website and my work. Please contact me if you like what you see or have any questions. I look forward to hearing from you!
